Think you know kraut? Think again. Our “new world” version pairs Classic Bavarian flavors with California freshness to create a snappy, tangy kraut you won’t soon forget.


Pairings: On a Reuben, with dogs and sausage, in turkey stuffing, part of a charcuterie or cold cut platter and in our California Kraut salad.

Smoked Jalapeño Kraut

This spicy Latin kraut is a California remix of El Salvador’s Curtido, a traditional cabbage dish normally made with pineapple vinegar, Farmhouse Culture has replaced the tropical zing with smoky heat, adding smoked fresh jalapenos to a blend of green cabbage, carrots, sweet onions, and crunchy radish.


Pairings: Grilled cheese sandwich, omelets, dogs and sausage, quesadilla, burrito or any south of the border dish.

Garlic Dill Pickle Kraut

Pairings: Anywhere you might use a pickle. Chop and add to potato, egg or tuna salad, deviled eggs, dogs and burgers. Make sure to use the juice.

Ginger Beet Kraut

This one’s for those completely enamored with beets – their color, their texture, their earthy flavor.   We played around with a number of flavor profiles but kept coming back to the simple pairing with ginger.  The ethereal sweetness of the ginger balances the earthiness of the beets and makes this our freshest tasting kraut

Add to any and all salads for fresh, flavorful crunch; roll it up in nori with avocado and salmon for sushi rolls;  or spread it on toast with avocado and goat butter!
